Stephan Pöhlmann

Nuremberg (DE) - Team entrance 2004

I saw Stephan Pöhlmann for the first time at a demo in Nuremberg and got to know him briefly. He already had a Morphium deck screwed underneath him as a little kid and was wearing a Morphium T-shirt. His skating at the age of 13 was also impressive. The store owner, for whom Stefan skated back then, raved about him and asked me if Stefan could possibly skate for the Morphium team. It should then also be easier to sell Morphium better for the store in the region.

Those were good arguments and I asked Stefan if he would like to come to Hamburg soon to go skating there. As Max (Dwertmann) was relatively new to the team at the time, I arranged for the two of them to come to Hamburg together. The two of them got on well right from the start and from then on they usually went to Hamburg together and skated there all the time.

Stefan is actually a kind of living Duracell battery, someone who is the first at the spot, does the first tricks and is the last to leave the spot.
He is also an absolute all-rounder who feels very comfortable with his board not only on street, but also in transition.
He is regularly featured in the usual German skateboard media and thus creates a decent presence as far as Morphium is concerned.

He is currently the person who has been on the Morphium team the longest, which I am very proud of and I hope he stays for a long time.
