Philipp Schmidt
Philipp Schmidt and I got to know each other back in the early 90s in Aurich/East Frisia through Christian Roth. Since then, we’ve often met up at contests and kept in touch with each other. As Philipp was quite active in the contest scene and attracted a lot of attention with his skating, I had the idea at some point to ask him if he would like to skate for Morphium. He was up for it and became another team member.
However, it didn’t last long, as one of his best friends “Christian Roth” also had the idea of starting a new board company called “Hessenmob” (now MOB Skateboards). As the two were very close, it was more than understandable that Philipp wanted to switch from the Morphium camp to the Hessenmob camp. Philipp informed me in good time and we parted on good terms.
The contact has remained active to this day and we both deal with each other almost every day. This applies to both business and private life.
